If you like getresponse think it twice. They are kicking out all members that dind´t upgrade their accounts from 17.99 mo to 149 mo. How are they doing it?, they just inform you that your account will be deactivated in 48 hours due spam practices. That is what you can expect from those people…

Which ESP provides the best delivery rates? I have been thinking of using aweber, Since a lot of my buddies use it but now you say that getresponse is better for prices and more features.

On the other hand, aWeber currently has a $1 trial. I have a feeling these two will be trying to one-up each other considerably as email marketing becomes more and more competitive!

Yes Getresponse did raise there prices. Their prices are slightly lower than Aweber’s.

However Getresponse has just added a survey system to their service.

You can now run surveys from Getresponse. This is something that Aweber does not have.

So right now I think Getresponse has the advantage on features.

Yes, GetResponse’s pricing and model is now very similar to aWeber’s. I did some research and found that aWeber’s delivery rate is currently beating GetResponse by a few percentage points. I’m sure the delivery rates compete and surpass each other from time to time though depending on the blacklists that the internet providers use — so the one that’s ahead one day could be behind the next.

With most other things the same now, I would concentrate on the service you find easiest to use and best supported for your particular needs. Both of them offer a money back guarantee, so it’s worth trying!

At July 2009 Get Response have changed their pricing drasitcally – now it’s v. similar to Aweber.

For example my monthly mailing costs are going to more or less triple with the new pricing.

But what I REALLY want to know, is which one has better delivery rates?
